The Oregon Ducks found great success on Saturday night against the James Madison Dukes in the first round of the College Football Playoff, jumping out to a 48-13 lead and eventually winning 51-34 after pulling a lot of the starters in the second half.
Unfortunately, it appears that they didn't pull RB Jordon Davison from the game soon enough, as the freshman was seen leaving the game in pain, being helped to the locker room by teammates while trying to keep pressure off of his right foot.
On Monday, during his Orange Bowl press conference, head coach Dan Lanning gave a positive upate.
"I think he'll be in good shape for this next game."
Davison finished the game with 10 rushes for 90 yards on Saturday night. He has become a massive part of the Ducks' offense this year, rushing for 625 yards and 13 touchdowns on 98 carries. Oregon has several days until their quarterfinals matchup against the Texas Tech Red Raiders on January 1st, so hopefully Davison can rest up and get back to full health before then.
