Notre Dame football to lose rising safety to the transfer portal

Notre Dame has seen its fare share of players opting to transfer, and on Monday another made his decision to leave the program.

JaDon Blair, a freshman safety from North Carolina will enter the portal when it opens according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, leaving the Irish after playing in just one game this fall. With the addition of 5-star Joey O’Brien and 4-star Ayden Pouncey along with the emergence of Tae Johnson and consistent play of Adon Shuler, there really wasn’t going to be room for Blair to see the field.

It’s unfortunate that he will move on, as he was a 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite. Blair will have four seasons of eligibility left, as he will soon start to look for his new football home. We wish JaDon nothing but the best as he continues his career elsewhere.
