QB Keisean Henderson named ALL-USA Southwest Team offensive captain

Keisean Henderson, the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2026 according to 247Sports, has been selected as the offensive captain of the ALL‑USA Southwest Football Team.
The 6‑foot‑3, 185‑pound quarterback from Legacy School of Sport Sciences in Texas capped his senior season with career‑best production, continuing a trajectory that has redefined his position.
This season, he threw for 3,880 yards and 45 touchdowns with just six interceptions. That is an average of 388 passing yards per game. He added 522 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
Henderson first emerged as a freshman wide receiver, catching 74 passes for 1,135 yards and 14 touchdowns. After switching to quarterback as a sophomore, he completed 90 of 142 passes for 1,574 yards and 21 touchdowns in just eight games. His junior year brought another leap: 2,689 passing yards and 25 touchdowns.
On early signing day, Henderson made one of the cycle’s biggest headlines by committing to Houston.
Along with the other players selected to the ALL-USA Southwest Football Team, Anderson is a finalist for the national ALL-USA Football Team, which will be announced on Dec. 30.
The southwest region includes athletes from Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
