Penn State and Matt Campbell earn yet another commitment from the Iowa State recruiting class. Offensive tackle Pete Eglitis is the next player to change his pledge to the Nittany Lions after signing with the Cyclones.

Eglitis is ranked as the No. 1612 player in the country, No. 137 offensive tackle, and No. 78 player in Ohio. He’s listed at 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, according to his commitment post.

The former Iowa State signee is the fifth former Cyclone to change his commitment to the Nittany Lions. He joins Tyrell Chatham, Bryson Williams, Kase Evans, and Lucas Tenbrock. Additional Iowa State signees could be other targets, with multiple players granted their letter of intent release.

The Class of 2026 becomes a seven-person class, joining the two signees. Defensive end Jackson Ford and quarterback Peyton Falzone signed prior to Campbell’s hiring.

The Nittany Lions jump to the No. 131 class in the country in the Class of 2026 team rankings, according to 247Sports composite.
