Pinstripe Bowl weather forecast is 5-9 inches of snow for Clemson vs Penn State

Clemson football and Penn State will likely play in the snow during the Pinstripe Bowl.
There is a winter storm warning forecast for the Bronx, New York, starting Dec. 26 at 4 p.m. and continuing until Dec. 27 at 1 p.m.
Kickoff for the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium is at noon.
The forecast calls for 5-9 inches of snow.
Most of the snow should fall before kickoff, according to Accuweather. Game time temperature is forecast to be 32 degrees with a 40% chance of snow. With wind factored in the temperature is expected to feel like 23 degrees.
What Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said about playing game in snow
Swinney said Dec. 26 he hasn't coached or played a game in the snow. Like for a lot of Clemson players who had never been to New York, Swinney said snow would just add to the list of new experiences for his team.
"It would be an amazing experience," Swinney said of having a game in the snow. "Something I've never done. Really cool experience for our guys."

The Pinstripe Bowl kickoff between Clemson (7-5) and Penn State (6-6) is scheduled for noon ET on Dec. 27. The game will air on ABC. It is one of eight bowl games that day.

This will be the final game for Cade Klubnik, who has been Clemson's quarterback for the last three seasons.
Penn State's star player is running back Kaytron Allen, who is seventh in the nation in rushing yards.
Clemson will be without 27 players because of opt-outs and injuries.
