No. 23 Tennessee (8-4, 4-4 SEC) will conclude its 2025 football season on Tuesday in the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl. The Vols will face Illinois (8-4, 5-4 Big Ten) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kickoff between Tennessee and the Fighting Illini is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EST (ESPN).

Tennessee student-athletes will have an opportunity to set program records in Tuesday’s contest.

Redshirt sophomore running back DeSean Bishop needs 17 rushing yards to reach 1,000 yards for the season. He would join Dylan Sampson (1,491) and Jaylen Wright (1,013) in having three Tennessee running backs to reach 1,000 rushing yards in three consecutive seasons.

Redshirt freshman wide receiver Braylon Staley needs one reception to break the Vols’ freshman record, true or redshirt. He recorded 64 receptions during the regular season. The 6-foot, 190-pound wide receiver is also one receiving touchdown away from tying Justin Hunter’s freshman record, true or redshirt, in 2012 (seven).

Senior quarterback Joey Aguilar is 242 passing yards away from breaking Peyton Manning’s single-season program record for total offense. Manning totaled 3,789 yards in 1997.
