Nebraska football made the final five for class of 2027 defensive back Juju Johnson. The Arizona State Sun Devils, Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon Ducks, and Michigan Wolverines are the other teams on the list.

Johnson is the 36th overall player in the 2027 class, the fifth overall corner, and the third overall player in his class from the state of California per the Rivals industry rankings. He has visited Nebraska twice, doing so on June 6 and September 20. Both of those visits were official.

Johnson had a tremendous 2024 season, recording 43 tackles, a sack, three pass breakups, a forced fumble, and an interception, per his 247Sports profile.

He would add to what is a growing and talented 2027 class. The class itself currently has four blue-chip prospects and ranks fourth overall in the country per the Rivals Industry Rankings.

Johnson would give the Huskers a lanky, speedy defensive back who can cover ground quickly with his speed. The Huskers have done well recruiting the secondary in recent classes, and Johnson would be another stellar addition.
