Notre Dame football took another transfer portal loss on Tuesday, as the window to officially enter will open later this week.

The Irish have lost multiple players since the season ended, and defensive end Joshua Burnham will depart from the program with one season of eligibility remaining. During his four seasons with Notre Dame, the Michigan native 65-tackles, six aacks and forced a fumble. Burnham also played an integral part on special teams as well.

While it might not seem like a huge loss statistically, anytime you lose a player with the experience that Burnham has, it’s not ideal. Already he’s been linked to an unknown Big Ten school by Mike Singer, so he might not have to move far.

Good luck in your final year Joshua, we wish you the best.
