Alabama football expected to add new assistant OLB coach, per reports

LOS ANGELES — Alabama football is expected to add another assistant coach to its 2026 staff.
The Crimson Tide is expected to add South Alabama linebackers coach Cameron Cleminson as an outside linebackers coach, per 247Sports.
Cleminson has spent the past two seasons as South Alabama inside linebackers coach after working as a graduate assistant on the Jaguars staff in 2023.
Cleminson has also worked at Cincinnati and Michigan State, where he graduated college.
Alabama is also expected to hire former Auburn offensive coordinator and running backs coach Derrick Nix as wide receivers coach, The Tuscaloosa News confirmed Tuesday, Dec. 16.
