The next few days is set to be a whirlwind for college football, as the transfer portal window where players can start to set and make trips to visit new schools will formally be opened. Michigan State football, under new head coach Pat Fitzgerald, is going to need to make a huge splash on that front to rebuild the program in its new leader’s vision.
Michigan State fans got some positive news around the transfer portal on Thursday, as it was confirmed that Corey Scott has locked in a visit to East Lansing. Scott was one of the top receivers in Division II last year with West Florida, where he racked up over 1,000 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
Landing Scott would be a major pull for the Spartans, as he’s been getting offers from all over the Division I landscape from teams like Missouri, Wisconsin, James Madison, Virginia Tech, and more.
