FHSAA bracket, schedule for first-round Big Bend high school football games

It’s playoff season for Florida’s high school football teams.
On Thursday, the Florida High School Athletic Association released the official playoff bracket. Games open Friday, Nov. 14.
There will be nine teams in Big Bend that will be focused on the next four weeks in pursuit of playing in the state championship in the Rural Division and Classes 1A-7A.
Last year, Gadsden County and Madison County advanced to the title games. The Jaguars lost to Cocoa in their first-ever title run, while the Cowboys won their seventh state title in program history.
Title games across all classifications will be held at FIU’s Pittbull Stadium.
State semifinal games are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28, for the Rural Class and Friday, Dec. 5, for Classes 1A-7A.

Aucilla Christian (8-1) at Mount Dora Christian Academy (10-1) (quarterfinals)
Rural
No. 4 Taylor County (9-1) vs. No. 13 Trenton (7-3)

Class 1A
No. 3 Maclay (7-3) vs. No. 6 North Florida Educational (6-4)
Class 2A
No. 4 Florida High (4-6) vs. Baldwin (7-3)
Class 3A
No. 7 Godby (4-6) at No. 2 Bay (9-1)
No. 6 Wakulla 6-3) at No. 3 Bishop Kenny (8-2)
Class 4A
No. 6 Rickards (3-7) at No. 3 Columbia (8-2)
Class 5A
No. 6 Lincoln (6-4) at No. 3 Mosley (9-1)
