North Carolina football transfer 'plans to visit Tennessee'

Tennessee is searching for student-athletes in the NCAA transfer portal to form its 2026 football roster. North Carolina sophomore linebacker Khmori House is expected to visit the Vols, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
“North Carolina linebacker transfer Khmori House plans to visit Tennessee and Arkansas, his agency A&P Sports Agency tells me, Chris Hummer and Cody Nagel,” Zenitz announced.
The 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker appeared in 12 games for the Tar Heels in 2025 under first-year head coach Bill Belichick. He recorded 78 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception, two pass deflections and one forced fumble.
House transferred to North Carolina from Washington. He played for the Huskies in 2024 and totaled 35 tackles, one tackle for a loss, one interception, five pass deflections and one forced fumble.
House is from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California.
The NCAA transfer portal opened Friday and will close Jan. 16.
