The Colorado Buffaloes, led by Deion Sanders, will be participating in the portal very intensely after nearly 30 players officially entered the portal Friday morning.
Sanders and the Buffs are already busy plugging those holes, specifically on the defensive line, having already offered and scheduled a visit with New Mexico State transfer DL Ezra Christensen.
Former Appalachian State defensive tackle Dylan Manuel is the next defensive line target on Colorado’s list, with the Buffs offering the 6-foot-1, 300-pound lineman Friday morning.
Manuel wrapped up his sophomore season at App State, posting 37 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, three sacks and an interception. According to Chris Hummer of 247Sports, Manuel is set to visit Boulder this weekend (Jan. 3-4) with Sanders’ staff seemingly making him a priority.

The offers and subsequent visits from Christensen and Manuel clearly signal Colorado’s transfer portal mindset: targeting productive Group of Five defensive linemen who seem ready to step up to the Power Four level.
