Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes football program finished with a 3-9 record in the 2025 season.
The Buffs won just one game in Big 12 Conference play, and it was a rebuilding year after stars such as Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders went to the NFL.
Sanders made a big change after the season by hiring former Sacramento State head coach Brennan Marion to be the new offensive coordinator.
On Saturday, just a day after the transfer portal officially opened, that hire appears to already be working out for Sanders and Colorado as one former Sacramento State star committed to the Buffs, via Hayes Fawcett of On3/Rivals.

Henderson spent two seasons at Colorado State before transferring to Sacramento State for the 2025 season.
He rushed for 565 yards with five touchdowns in his only season with Sac State, and now he is following Marion to Boulder.
Coming out of high school, Henderson was a three-star prospect, via 247Sports, and he had offers from Oregon, Washington, Arizona, San Jose State and Colorado State before committing to the Rams.
Now, he is headed to Colorado in a big get for Sanders and the Buffs.
This marked the fourth commit for Colorado on Saturday, with all of Monmouth DL Lamont Lester Jr., Charlotte DL Yamil Talib and Miami (OH) WR Kam Perry also coming to Boulder.
