MANHATTAN — Collin Klein has landed his first transfer portal commitment, bringing a former Arkansas defensive back to Kansas State football.

Keshawn Davila will join the Wildcats, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He was the No. 1 JUCO cornerback and No. 2 overall player when he committed to the Razorbacks before the 2025 season.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound corner has two years of eligibility remaining. He played in 12 games last season, making two tackles and breaking up a pair of passes. He entered the transfer portal after the season, which saw Arkansas part ways with Sam Pittman and his entire coaching staff.

One member of Arkansas’ coaching staff was Marcus Woodson, who was hired as Kansas State’s co-defensive coordinator on Dec. 22. He will also be involved in tutoring the defensive backs.

Since entering the portal, Davila has received offers from South Florida, Memphis, UNLV, James Madison and North Texas. He was pursued by Florida, Washington, Iowa, Baylor, Utah, Kentucky and others out of junior college.

Before playing at Arkansas, Davila played at Northwest Mississippi Community College. In 2024, he made 23 tackles, caught three interceptions and broke up six passes. In 2023, he played in nine games and picked off two passes.

Cornerback is one of the few positions where Klein and the K-State staff have retained key players, with starters Zashon Rich and Donovan McIntosh expected to stay with the Wildcats. K-State still needed depth at the position, and Davila will have a chance to make an immediate impact in 2026.
