Alabama true freshman Micah DeBose has officially entered the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

A four-star recruit from the 2025 recruiting class, DeBose appeared in just one game during his freshman campaign, and was unable to make a large impact with the playing time he was given.

The 6’5”, 319 pound offensive lineman is expected to draw interest from a number of different teams as he was a highly coveted prospect in 2025. The Mobile, Alabama native was ranked as the No. 11 overall interior offensive lineman and the No. 205 overall player from his class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

DeBose will join Noah Carter, Joseph Ionata, Olaus Alinen, Richard Young, Jaylen Mbakwe, Roq Montgomery, Kameron Howard and Bubba Hampton among the Crimson Tide players to enter the transfer portal, as Alabama will more than likely have a number of new faces on both sides of the football in 2026.
