Indiana football is focused on winning a national title in the 2025 college football season, but Curt Cignetti is already building for 2026.
On Sunday, Jan. 4, four days before the No. 1 Hooisers are set to play No. 5 Oregon in the Peach Bowl, Indiana added a commitment from former Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh. The sophomore had 59 receptions for 662 yards and six touchdowns for the Spartans in 2025.
Marsh, listed at 6-foot-3 and 203 pounds, will have two more years of eligibility for the Hoosiers. He is the first addition out of the transfer portal in this cycle for the Hoosiers. Against Indiana this season, Marsh finished with seven catches for 64 yards and a score in a 38-13 Indiana victory.
Wide receiver is a major area of need for the Hoosiers this offseason. Wide receivers Elijah Sarratt, E.J. Williams and Jonathan Brady are out of eligibility following the season, while redshirt junior Omar Cooper, Jr. could enter the NFL draft.
