Former Cyclones headed to Penn State include:
- Linebacker Caleb Bacon
- Quarterback Rocco Becht
- Tight end Ben Brahmer
- Linebacker Cael Brezina
- Offensive lineman Trevor Buhr
- Tight end Gabe Burkle
- Wide receiver Brett Eskildsen
- Running back Carson Hansen
- Offensive lineman Kuol Kuol
- Quarterback Alex Manske
- Safety Marcus Neal.
Former Cyclones running back Abu Sama is headed to another Big Ten school, Wisconsin.
Campbell announced on Dec. 5 that he was leaving Iowa State after 10 years as Cyclones head coach. Washington State’s Jimmy Rogers was immediately named the new ISU head coach, and he is bringing some of his Washington State players with him to Ames as well.
