The Iowa Hawkeyes rarely ever have to rebuild; they just reload. That is the case in the early stages of the transfer portal on the defensive side of the ball for the Hawkeyes and defensive coordinator Phil Parker.

On the heels of landing Anthony Hawkins, the former Villanova safety, from the transfer portal, the Hawkeyes have added some more beef up front with a recent commitment of a transfer portal defensive lineman.

Brice Stevenson, a defensive lineman from Holy Cross, who entered the transfer portal, has committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes and will provide some more talent on a defensive line looking to replenish the losses of Aaron Graves, Ethan Hurkett, and Max Llewellyn.

Brice Stevenson, a product of Berkeley Prep High School and Tampa, Florida, spent three years at Holy Cross. While there, he gained a lot of experience due to immediate playing time.

The 6-foot-1, 295-pound defensive lineman appeared in 32 games over three seasons with 24 stars under his belt. While at Holy Cross, Stevenson registered 84 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks.
