The latest edition of the NCAA football transfer portal has a few former Cleveland County standouts on the move.

A pair of them settled on new college homes Monday, with Crest High product Javarius Green choosing Boston College, while former Shelby High standout JaKeith Hamilton is headed to East Carolina.

Listed at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds, Green goes to Chestnut Hill after spending the past two years at North Carolina. He has three years of eligibility remaining. The former Crest High standout started three games for the Tar Heels in 2025, catching 13 passes for 150 yards.

Hamilton is bound for East Carolina after three years at Furman. The Shelby product has two seasons of eligibility remaining. A 6-foot-2, 206-pound wideout, Hamilton caught 49 passes for 588 yards and five touchdowns over the last two years.

Over the holidays, former Shelby High quarterback Daylin Lee committed to Tennessee State. A 6-foot-4, 190-pound talent, Lee spent the last three seasons at Winston-Salem State where he threw for 3,141 yards and 33 TDs. The 2025 campaign was undoubtedly his best, throwing for 2,046 yards and 23 TDs.

Several other Cleveland County talents remain in the transfer portal. Among them include:
