NORMAN — OU football landed a defensive tackle who received interest from a flurry of SEC programs on Tuesday.

After hosting him on campus this past weekend, the Sooners garnered a commitment from former UTSA defensive tackle Kenny Ozowalu, ESPN reported Tuesday. Ozowalu also visited Texas this past weekend.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound tackle has three years of eligibility remaining.

He recorded 17 tackles, six tackles for loss and three sacks for the Roadrunners in 2025.

OU lost a plethora of depth and experience at defensive tackle and Ozowalu helps address a need for Brent Venables.
