Ferris State has been one of the most dominant Division II teams of all time since they won their first of four titles in 2021. So, it's no surprise that a lot of their players are getting major interest from the Power Four conferences. One of the more intriguing Ferris State players in the portal is their quarterback, Carson Gulker, who is currently on campus visiting the Spartans and also received an official offer from MSU on Tuesday.

Gulker wasn't the primary quarterback for the Bulldogs. That honor went to freshman phenom Wyatt Bower. Gulker was more of a hybrid weapon who can do multiple things within the offense, from running the ball, catching passes, and throwing it. From what I have heard, Gulker is being recruited at the Division I level as a tight end in a Taysom Hill type of mold.

Michigan State will have some stiff competition for Gulker's recruitment as he is currently set to visit LSU as soon as his MSU visit concludes, and he's also being pursued by Duke, SMU, Liberty, and Texas Tech.
