Though Charles Correa never entered the transfer portal, Purdue football fans were waiting for confirmation from the Boilermaker linebacker he indeed would return to West Lafayette.
That came mid day Tuesday when Correa posted on X, “Boiler Nation — I’m in it for the long run. Let’s get back to work!”
On Tuesday night, Correa got help.
Former Penn State linebacker Anthony Speca committed to the Boilermakers.
Speca played in 17 games over two seasons at Penn State, making 14 tackles.
Coming out of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Speca was a top 500 national recruit in the 2024 class and the No. 41 linebacker according to 247Sports.
