The transfer portal window has opened and Michigan State football is rebuilding its roster to prepare for Pat Fitzgerald's first season in East Lansing. With needing over 30 transfers to fill out the roster, the Spartans have found recruiting momentum in the portal.
The latest commitment the Spartans have gotten is on the defensive line. Trey Lisle has made his commitment to Michigan State, transferring from Southeast Missouri State, bringing three years of eligibility with him to East Lansing.
A 6-foot-7, 250 pound defensive end from Fayetteville, Ark., Lisle played in eight games as a redshirt freshman in 2025. He secured 18 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and half a sack in his playing time.
