Auburn football transfer portal tracker | Latest news, developments

AUBURN โ€” Alex Golesh‘s first eight months as Auburn football‘s head coach will be imperative to the success of his first season at the helm, but his first month hasn’t done him many favors.

Before the former South Florida head coach even gets his first opportunity to lead the Tigers into a game on the Plains, he’s being tasked with wading through one of the more talented rosters in the sport and carving out his group of guys for the 2026 campaign.

The returns to this point have been, understandably, disheartening. The Tigers were slated to have nearly 30 players in the transfer portal when it opened Friday, Jan. 2, and two-thirds of them were former blue-chip signees, helping comprise the 13th-most-talented roster in the nation last season.

While the likes of Cam Coleman and Deuce Knight will be looking at their options elsewhere, it’ll be up to Golesh and his newly hired staff to do the hard part: build a roster that can compete in the SEC while pushing to retain some of that outgoing talent.

As the offseason continues, stay tuned here for a full rundown of the latest changes on Auburn‘s roster.

Live updates on Auburn football’s roster: Who’s in, out on the Plains?

Every Auburn football transfer addition so far now official

Jan. 8 (5:28 p.m.): Auburn announced the addition of Cody Sigler on Thursday evening, making each of their 14 additions to this point official.

Auburn’s transfer class is currently ranked 12th nationally by 247Sports, and it’s the sixth-highest-rated in the SEC.

Auburn football adds A-State DL, Alabama native Cody Sigler

Jan. 8 (3:45 p.m.): Sigler, an All-Conference defensive lineman at Arkansas State in 2025, signed with Auburn on Thursday, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser.

Sigler spent just one season with the Red Wolves, but he made the most of it, recording 35 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 6 pass deflections and 5 sacks, which secured him All-Sun Belt Conference honors.

Former Ohio State wide receiver arrives for Auburn football visit

Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Mylan Graham (5) runs past Grambling State Tigers defensive back Christen Williams (29) during the second half of the NCAA football game at Ohio Stadium on Sept. 6, 2025. Ohio State won 70-0.

Jan. 8 (3:05 p.m.): Mylan Graham, a former consensus top-100 recruit, just arrived at the Woltosz Football Performance Center for a transfer visit.

Graham spent two seasons with the Buckeyes before entering the portal after the 2025 season. He redshirted his freshman year, but he caught six passes for 93 yards in nine games this fall.

Jan. 8 (11:45 a.m.): Parker, a rising redshirt junior, is in Auburn for a visit, the Montgomery Advertiser has learned.

In three seasons in Baton Rouge, Parker caught 34 passes for 385 yards and five touchdowns. Much of that production came last season, when Parker caught 31 passes for 330 yards and four scores.

Missouri edge rusher Nate Johnson visiting Auburn football

Jan. 8 (9:20 a.m.): Johnson, a rising senior, has arrived in Auburn for a visit, the Montgomery Advertiser has learned.

Johnson spent a single season at Missouri, transferring there after two years at Appalachian State. He logged six tackles in nine games last season, but as a Mountaineer, he was highly productive. Johnson left Boone after logging 77 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in 25 games.

Ohio State O-Lineman transfer details Auburn football visit

Ohio State Buckeyes offensive lineman Tegra Tshabola (77) arrives for the NCAA football game against the Ohio Bobcats at Ohio Stadium on Sept. 13, 2025. Ohio State won 37-9.

Jan. 8 (9 a.m.): As Auburn attempts to replace its entire starting offensive line from the 2025 season, it received an important visitor in Tegra Tshabola, who made the Plains his first stop following his entering the transfer portal.

Tshabola has one year of eligibility remaining after spending the past four seasons with Ohio State, including the last two at the Buckeyes‘ starting right guard. His visit to Auburn concluded Wednesday evening, and he walked away surprised by Golesh’s staff, including offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick.

“He had a plan prepared for me to help me improve,” Tshabola said of Hudanick. “A strict plan, a bunch of different ideas of how he was going to help me improve. That’s what kind of sold me with him, is how eager and hungry he was to get on this thing and help me improve and help this team improve.”

What’s the latest with transfer portal calendar? Here’s what to know

After having two portal windows last offseason, including a 30-day span for the majority of December, the NCAA consolidated chances for football players to transfer this year, eliminating a spring transfer window and moving the lone period to a two-week span โ€” from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16 โ€” following the College Football Playoff.

Players who wish to enter the portal must do so in that window, but they’re not required to enroll at a new school before the entry deadline.
