Nebraska safety Javin Wright accepts an invite to 2026 American Bowl

Former Nebraska safety Javin Wright accepted an invitation to the 2026 American Bowl on Wednesday afternoon. The American Bowl is a college football senior showcase that supports active military and veterans.
Wright played a major role in the Nebraska defense this season. He recorded 86 tackles, three sacks, and an interception on the season for the program. He was recognized as an honorable-mention All-Big Ten athlete at the end of the season.
Wright finishes his Nebraska career with 180 total tackles, seven sacks, and three interceptions over the course of five seasons.
Now, he’ll get to showcase his talents one final time at the collegiate level. Wright could have a chance to make an impact at the NFL level, and showcases like this will put him in the national spotlight.
