Texas A&M will still have plenty of options at wide receiver if Auburn transfer wide receiver Cam Coleman does not commit to the Aggies, including fellow transfer wideout Malcolm Simmons, and Alabama transfer WR, Isaiah Horton, who entered his name into the portal on Thursday. However, another familiar name will reportedly make his way to College Station this weekend.

According to several sources, including 247 Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Texas A&M will host former program commit and Colorado transfer wide receiver Dre’lon Miller on Saturday, following his Louisville visit and a visit to Kentucky on Friday. Miller, who flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes in the 2024 recruiting class, has been connected to the Aggies ever since.

Given Colorado’s on-field struggles last season, Miller’s usage has been surprising, recording just 20 receptions for 158 yards and one touchdown. During his 2024 freshman season, Miller’s numbers were average for most first-year players, reeling in 32 receptions for 277 yards and three scores.

However, Miller’s elite versatility as a backfield option was the focus last season, as the sophomore ran for 134 yards and a touchdown on 46 carries. Still, the Silsbee, Texas, native has yet to reach his full potential, but under new Texas A&M OC Holmon Wiggins, whose extensive history of developing wide receivers is well known, this could be a perfect fit.

Miller would be more of a stopgap replacement for KC Concepcion or another depth piece in the rotation, providing another dose of speed and versatility.
