Billionaire Mark Cuban has begun investing heavily in Indiana football after seeing the heights that his alma mater has reached this year. But fans don't appreciate Cuban's new presence on the Indiana sidelines.
Cuban was on the sidelines with the Hoosiers for their dominating Peach Bowl win over Oregon that sent the team to their first-ever national championship game. After the win he boldly announced "We ain't done yet!"

Climbing the Bandwagon
This past week Cuban announced that he made his first-ever donation to the Indiana football program after previously donating millions to other portions of the school excluding football. Many fans didn't appreciate Cuban's apparent interest in merely riding the Indiana bandwagon after literal decades.
"Mark Cuban did not attend Indiana football games even as a student. Talk about hoping on the bandwagon and funding it," one SEC football fan declared on X.
"Mark Cuban may be an Indiana alum, but where was he in 2021 when Indiana went 2-10? Bandwagon much, Mark?" wrote another.
"The first time in my life I have seen Mark Cuban and Indiana in the same sentence. The definition of a bandwagon fan," a third wrote.
But many fans also pointed out that even if Cuban didn't support Indiana actively then, it was likely because he was focusing on building his fortune to become one of the wealthiest men in America.
And even if he's only now showing his passion for Indiana football, it's only going to benefit the program. While the exact dollar amount he donated to the program's NIL warchest isn't publicly known, everyone is anticipating it being one of the biggest donations ever made for NIL purposes.
What may be scarier for college football is that Cuban is hardly the only wealthy Indiana alum who is ready to put their money into the program. He's merely the most well-known one.
