Florida football secured a potential impact receiver from the transfer portal, signing Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton on Jan. 10, per multiple reports.
The 5-10, 185-pound Singleton, from Atlanta, Georgia, had 58 catches for 534 yards and 3 TDs last season for the Tigers
Singleton began his career at Georgia Tech, where he caught 104 passes for 1,468 yards and 9 TDs in two seasons with the Yellow Jackets.
A junior, Singleton has one year of eligibility remaining. Both On3 and 247Sports rate Singleton as the No. 8 wide receiver in the 2026 portal class.
Singleton, who pulled his name out of the NFL Draft earlier this week, brings familiarity with the new Florida Gators coaching staff under Jon Sumrall. He played under both new UF offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner when Faulkner was the OC at Georgia and under new UF wide receivers coach Marcus Davis when Davis was the wide receivers coach at Auburn.
Singleton will join a deep and talented Florida wide receivers position group that includes rising sophomores Dallas Wilson, Vernell Brown III and T.J. Abrams, Georgia Tech transfer Bailey Stockton, Wake Forest transfer Micah Mays Jr. and incoming freshman Davian Groce.
