A former Michigan State offensive lineman is heading out west to continue his career via the transfer portal.
Michigan State transfer offensive lineman Payton Stewart has committed to Colorado State. Stewart announced his commitment to the Rams vis a social media post on his X account on Sunday.
Stewart is a redshirt freshman and served as a backup on the Spartans' offensive line. He didn't see any game action during his two year career with the Spartans, and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Stewart was a three-star prospect in the 2024 class, originally hailing from Kelso, Wash. He ranked as the No. 80 offensive tackle in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports.
