One of the Alabama Crimson Tide‘s top overall NCAA transfer portal targets has officially announced his decision.

That decision came from Cam Coleman, a transfer wide receiver from Auburn, who announced a commitment to the Texas Longhorns, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Coleman had also previously visited Alabama, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech prior to committing to the Longhorns, according to reports.

The former Auburn wide receiver was considered as one of the top overall players in the transfer portal this cycle, as well as the top wide receiver, per 247Sports. Entering his junior season, Coleman appeared in 23 total games during his time at Auburn where the former top recruit hauled in 93 receptions for 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Following the commitment of Coleman to Texas, Alabama’s 2026 wide receiver room still has five players currently on the roster, headlined by the returning Ryan Williams and Lotzeir Brooks.
