Former FSU CB Shamar Arnoux commits to Auburn through transfer portal

Auburn football has signed Florida State true freshman cornerback Shamar Arnoux, per Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.
A previous commit to Auburn, Arnoux flipped to Florida State on signing day. According to 247Sports, he was a three-star prospect and the No. 76 player in the state of Georgia coming out of Carrollton High School.
Arnoux finished his solo season with the Seminoles with 27 total tackles and one pass deflection in 11 games, with three starts. According to Pro Football Focus data, receivers guarded by Arnoux had a catch rate of 54.2% (13-of-24) for 132 yards and just two touchdowns.
The Tigers now have a total of 23 incoming transfers signed this portal cycle, and Arnoux marks the fourth secondary pickup, joining cornerbacks Andre Jordan Jr. and Gavin Jenkins, as well as safety Fred Gaskin. The quartet of defensive backs will join a cast of returning members, including Kaleb Harris, Eric Winters, Sylvester Smith, and Anquon Fegans.
