AUBURN — Alex Golesh‘s first offensive line for Auburn football has taken another step forward, as former South Florida offensive lineman Cole Skinner has signed with the Tigers, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser on Jan. 12.

With Skinner in the fold, Auburn is up to 23 transfer additions. Skinner is the 12th player to follow Golesh from Tampa to the Plains, and he’s the program’s third addition on the offensive line, joining James Madison transfer Joseph Simmons and Michigan State transfer Stanton Ramil.

A rising senior, Skinner played a reserve role his first two seasons, but he made four starts in 2025 and saw the field for all 12 games. He surrendered just 7 pressures and no sacks in 229 opportunities.

The Bulls also utilized Skinner as a ball-carrier in goal-line situations the past two seasons, as he registered four carries for four yards and two rushing touchdowns.
