Four-star recruit Legend Bey flips commitment from Tennessee to Ohio State football

Four-star recruit Legend Bey flipped his commitment from Tennessee to Ohio State football on Nov. 10, Bey confirmed in a social media post.

Classified as an athlete (ATH), Bey ranks 24th in the 247Sports composite rankings in the ATH category and is the No. 361 recruit in the 2026 class. Bey has 37 confirmed offers listed on his recruiting profile and originally committed to the Volunteers on June 28.

Listed at 5 feet, 10 and a half inches and 175 pounds, Bey played quarterback at North Forney High School in Forney, Texas. He accounted for over 4,000 career rushing yards, 3,500-plus passing yards and 94 touchdowns in his career.

North Forney quarterback Legend Bey attends the Ohio State football game against Penn State at Ohio Stadium on Nov. 1.

Bey should have "no problem" transitioning to a different skill position due to his football IQ as a high school quarterback, 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks wrote in Bey's profile.

Bey visited Ohio State during the Ohio State-Penn State game on Nov. 1, committing less than two weeks later.
