MSU to reportedly host elite, 4-star EDGE for unofficial visit next week

One of the top prospects from Michigan in the 2027 class is reportedly set to visit Michigan State next week.
Myles Smith of Farmington, Mich. will reportedly visit Michigan State in a few weeks, according to Jason Killop of On3. Per the On3 recruiting service site, Smith will be at Michigan State on January 24 for an unofficial visit.
Smith is listed as a four-star edge rusher in the 2027 class. He holds a recruiting rating of 92.81 in 247Sports' composite rating system, and ranks as the No. 4 player from Michigan in the class. He is also listed as the No. 20 edge rusher and No. 186 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to extend an offer to Smith, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Purdue and West Virginia.
