10 players out in Tennessee-Oklahoma football game

No. 14 Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC) and No. 18 Oklahoma (6-2, 2-2 SEC) will renew their football series on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. Both teams are ranked in the top 20 of the US LBM Coaches Poll in Week 10.
Kickoff between the Vols and Sooners is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ABC. Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline reporter) will be on the call.
Oklahoma leads the all-time football series, 3-2, against the Vols, dating to Jan. 2, 1939.
Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics calendar, the SEC made it mandatory for schools to provide public reports on availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Defensive back Rickey Gibson III, wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. and defensive back Jermod McCoy are out for Tennessee. Linebacker Arion Carter is questionable for the Vols.
Offensive linemen Troy Everett, Jacob Sexton and Jake Taylor are out for Oklahoma, along with defensive back Kendel Dolby. Wide receiver Keontez Lewis and running backs Jovantae Barnes and Taylor Tatum are also out for the Sooners.
Offensive lineman Derek Simmons is doubtful for Oklahoma, while linebacker Kobie McKinzie is questionable and offensive lineman Logan Howland is probable.
