The second installment of the College Football Playoff rankings was released on Tuesday night. After a 24-point victory over Purdue, the FanDuel betting favorite, Ohio State, remained the top team. In fact, the Top-5 teams remained intact with Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia rounding out the group in the same order as last week.
Texas Tech jumped up two spots to No. 6, including leaping over Ole Miss, after thrashing previous No. 7 BYU, 29-7. Ole Miss fell one spot to No. 7, followed by Oregon, Notre Dame, and Texas to round out the Top-10. The Longhorns are now on the right side of the bubble and represent the last at-large team currently in the CFP.
Meanwhile, No. 15 Miami would be in the CFP as an 11-seed ACC champion and would be joined by No. 24 USF as the 12-seed and the new Group of Six representative.
The Michigan Wolverines checked in at No. 18 after being idle and will look to continue their climb toward the CFP this weekend against Northwestern at Wrigley Field. Here are the official FanDuel odds.
