2025 Staff Pick’em Week 11

We should have known that one of our best weeks ever — 32-16 in Week 10 — that the next week would be crashing back to Earth. It could have been worse, but the staff combined to go 18-24. Cole, Tom, Import, and the Commentariat all tied for the best performance this week at 4-3. Andrew was a slightly worse 3-4. CDA was 2-5. I baaarely avoided being skunked at 1-6. Yikes.

Everyone missed on Vanderbilt +2.5, which is just brutal. Only Tom sniffed out the trap that was the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Cincinnati also let all of us except Cole and Import down. Other than that, it was at least even splits or majority winners.

This week is a condensed one with a 5 SEC teams on a bye, Ole Miss playing FCS Citadel, and 5 SEC-SEC games. The Big XII matchup of BYU at Texas Tech is the Dealer’s Choice. There is only 1 unanimously picked game, but 4 of the other 5 games have only 1 person breaking rank. Then Florida-Kentucky got split dead even.

The Rules

1. Normally, the picks are for all SEC games with one dealer’s choice where I get to choose another game to make us pick.
2. The picks will be made AGAINST THE SPREAD. Too many games are easy to pick heads up. Also, this will serve as a PSA for why you should not get into sports gambling, which is especially important with sports gambling being legal in Tennessee now.
3. The lines will be taken from FanDuel, who SB Nation has partnered with this season, some time Monday, so they may not match what is listed at the time this article is published. I may also use a backup for FBS-FCS matchups if the line is available elsewhere when I get the spreads.
