The 2026 college football season enters Week 3.
Through two starts, Tennessee freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon has completed 23-of-38 passing attempts for 374 yards and five touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound freshman has also recorded 90 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 15 attempts.
Following Week 2, ESPN released updated Total QBR ratings for FBS quarterbacks.
Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating values a quarterback on all play types with a 0-100 scale, adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses faced.
Brandon leads SEC quarterbacks with a 90.4 QBR after Week 2. He also ranks No. 6 nationally for FBS quarterbacks. Darian Mensah from Miami leads all signal-callers nationally with a 96.5 QBR.
