Redshirt freshman wide receiver Joakim Dodson enters his second season at Tennessee in 2026.
The 6-foot, 198-pound wide receiver appeared in five games for the Vols in 2025, earning a redshirt. He totaled two receptions for 38 yards.
Dodson recorded one reception for 27 yards against East Tennessee State and an 11-yard reception versus UAB. He also appeared in contests at Kentucky, versus Oklahoma and against Illinois in the Music City Bowl.
In the Music City Bowl, Dodson returned two kick returns for 114 yards, including a 94-yard return for a touchdown.
He is from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In his only year with the Red Raiders, Dodson helped Baylor to an undefeated regular season and a state championship berth.
Before joining Baylor, he played at Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee for three seasons. Dodson committed to the Vols over Missouri, Cincinnati and Indiana.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.
