At this point, it should come as no surprise that the Oregon Ducks‘ program is on the short list for top recruits around the country.

2027 five-star athlete Xavier Sabb was the latest to list Oregon in his top ten. He also was quoted by Rivals as saying that the Ducks, alongside Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, Tennessee and Texas A&M are standing out and “really coming hard” after him.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder has played primarily wide receiver at Glassboro High School in Glassboro, New Jersey. He’s also excelled on the other side of the ball as a safety — much like his brother Keon Sabb, a current Alabama Crimson Tide junior who’s totaled 91 tackles, nine passes defensed and five interceptions in three seasons, one with the Michigan Wolverines.

The younger Sabb also has another brother, Amari, who is listed as a three-star athlete in the 2026 class per 247 Sports. There’s speculation that both Xavier, although a class below, and Amari could be considered a package deal.

Asked about what Sabb had to say about Oregon, he responded “I love Coach (Dan) Lanning and Coach Ross (Douglas) energy.”

Sabb is the No. 1-ranked athlete in his class, per 247 Sports, and would be the Ducks‘ second commit in the 2027 class. Four-star EDGE Cameron Pritchett is the lone commit.
