2027 Alabama wide receiver names Tennessee football in top schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star wide receiver Deshawn Hall named Tennessee in his top seven schools, along with Penn State, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Auburn and Clemson, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect is from Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 23 wide receiver in the class and No. 10 player in Alabama.

Tennessee offered Hall a scholarship on Jan. 27. He visited the Vols for a spring practice on March 26 and will officially visit Tennessee on June 19.

Ohio was the first school to offer Hall a scholarship on Oct. 13, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Troy, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Bowling Green, North Alabama, West Virginia, South Carolina, Missouri, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, UConn, Jackson State, Wake Forest, Louisville, Ole Miss, UAB and Florida State.

Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman and defensive back Carter Jamison.
