2027 Connecticut defensive lineman announces Tennessee football visit

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. Four-star defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop will officially visit Tennessee on May 21.

“Locked in,” Nguetsop announced.

The 6-foot-7, 268-pound prospect is from Germany and plays for St. Thomas More High School in Oakdale, Connecticut. 247Sports ranks Nguetsop as the No. 25 defensive lineman in the class and No. 2 player in Connecticut.

Tennessee offered him a scholarship on Feb. 17. He visited the Vols for a spring practice on March 20.

Texas A&M was the first school to offer Nguetsop a scholarship on Nov. 17, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Florida, Nebraska, Georgia, Michigan, Kansas State, Miami, FAU, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Liberty, Colorado State, Boston College, Texas, Virginia Tech, California, UCLA, Michigan State, Kentucky, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Florida State, Ohio State, Stanford and Connecticut.

Tennessee has six commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler and wide receiver KeSean Bowman.
