2027 Dallas wide receiver names Tennessee football in top 12 schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star wide receiver Julian Caldwell named Tennessee in his top 12 schools, along with Oregon, Texas, Texas Tech, SMU, USC, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Washington and Miami, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect is from Argyle High School in Argyle, Texas. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 11 wide receiver in the class and No. 9 player in Texas.

Tennessee offered Caldwell a scholarship on Feb. 24 and has not visited the Vols.

Texas Tech was the first school to offer Caldwell a scholarship on July 5, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Arkansas, North Texas, Baylor, BYU, Nebraska, Missouri, Arizona, Duke, Kentucky, Utah, Penn State, Colorado, Auburn, Kansas, Pittsburgh, Florida, Kansas State, Syracuse, Illinois, Stanford and Oklahoma State.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
