2027 IMG Academy cornerback names Tennessee football in top six

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star cornerback Censere Gaylord named Tennessee in his top six schools, along with Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and Washington.
“Top six,” Gaylord announced.
The 6-foot, 160-pound prospect is from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 17 cornerback in the class and No. 11 player in Florida.
Tennessee offered Gaylord a scholarship on May 13, 2024. He visited Tennessee for the Vols’ game versus Arkansas on Oct. 11.
Colorado State was the first school to offer Gaylord a scholarship on Jan. 10, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Florida, Ole Miss, Florida State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Alabama, Nebraska, Auburn, SMU, USC, Wake Forest, UCF, North Carolina, Colorado, USF, Michigan, Miami, Purdue and Maryland.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
