2027 in-state wide receiver commits to Tennessee football

Tennessee added a commitment to its 2027 football recruiting class.
Four-star wide receiver KeSean Bowman committed to Tennessee over Vanderbilt, Ohio State and Alabama on Saturday.
The 6-foot-1, 176-pound prospect was an in-state target from Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. 247Sports ranks Bowman as the No. 11 wide receiver in the class and No. 4 player in Tennessee.
Tennessee offered Bowman a scholarship on May 10, 2024. He has unofficially visited Tennessee six times, most recently for the Vols’ football game against UAB on Sept. 20, 2025.
Bowman previously committed to Oregon on July 24, 2025. He announced his decommitment from the Ducks on Sept. 19, 2025.
Kentucky was the first school to offer Bowman a scholarship on Sept. 9, 2023. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Louisville, Missouri, SMU, Indiana, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Michigan, Maryland, Miami, California, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Purdue, Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Wisconsin, UCLA, Syracuse, LSU, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, USC and South Carolina.
Tennessee has five other commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, and athlete Jaden Butler.
