Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star wide receiver Lawrence Britt named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Vanderbilt, Miami, Missouri, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Alabama and Oregon, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-1, 172-pound prospect is an in-state target from Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. Former Tennessee running back Eric Gray also played at Lausanne.

247Sports ranks Britt as the No. 4 athlete in the class and No. 5 player in Tennessee.

Tennessee was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Jan. 6. Britt unofficially visited for a spring practice and the Vols’ game against Georgia on Sept. 13.

Other schools to offer him scholarships include USC, UNLV, Arkansas, Memphis, Mississippi State, Arizona State, Auburn, Louisville, Georgia State, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Sacramento State, North Carolina and Colorado.

Tennessee has three commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield and offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo.
