Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star running back Ty Keys named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Miami, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Oregon, Mississippi State, Florida State, Penn State and UCF.

“All Glory to God for these blessings,” Keys announced.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect is from Poplarville High School in Poplarville, Mississippi. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 running back in the class and No. 6 player in Mississippi.

Tennessee offered Keys a scholarship on Nov. 19, 2025. He has visited Mississippi State, LSU and Florida State.

Ole Miss was the first school to offer Keys a scholarship on Nov. 21, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Western Kentucky, Jackson State, Boston College, Nebraska, Louisiana, Oregon State, Colorado, Southern Miss, Tulane, Washington and Pittsburgh.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
