2027 NFL Academy offensive tackle commits to Tennessee football

Four-star offensive tackle Niko Kampas committed to Tennessee over Auburn, Michigan and Vanderbilt on Friday.
The 6-foot-7, 294-pound prospect is from Germany and plays for the NFL Academy in London, England. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the class and No. 1 prospect in England.
Tennessee offered Kampas a scholarship on Sept. 19, 2025. He officially visited the Vols on June 19.
Sacramento State was the first school to offer Kampas a scholarship on May 16, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Boston College, UMass, Liberty, Rhode Island, UConn, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Alabama, Northwestern, Miami University, Purdue, Illinois, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State, UCF, West Virginia, USF, Duke, Washington, North Carolina and Kansas State.
Tennessee has 17 commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays, cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown, offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson, athlete Dayon Cooper, safety Marcus Jones and Kampas.
