2027 Pennsylvania lineman names Tennessee in top schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Terrance Smith named Tennessee in his top seven schools, along with Florida, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State and Rutgers, according to Chad Simmons of On3.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound prospect is from Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 12 interior offensive lineman in the class and No. 9 player in Pennsylvania.

Tennessee offered Smith a scholarship during his only unofficial visit March 14, 2025.

Rutgers was the first school to offer Smith a scholarship on Sept. 25, 2024. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Syracuse, Michigan State, Kentucky, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Maryland, Alabama, Wake Forest, Duke, Boston College, North Carolina, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Illinois, Oregon, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Penn State and Florida State.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
